yes folks - thats right, its mr. bodie james' 2nd birthday! he will be celebrating around the pool :)
so TECHNICALLY - i don't really know when bodies birthday is, as he is a rescue dog. but in my calculations he would have probably been born in july... and my favorite number is 12... so there you have it, a july 12th birthday!
i have had the honor of owning bodie for about 16 months and boy have they been a whirl wind. so without further waiting here is my top ten "bodie list" - things i love, weird quarks, and just bodie being bodie.. in no particular order.
- bodie is a vampire on the low... he loves to find hidey holes and burrowing into them.
- bodie is SUPER cuddly in the morning.. makes for a better wake up call - who can resist a puppy kiss in the morning
- bodie is a world traveler! bodie may have more frequent flyer miles then the average human! his travels have included: athens, ga; myrtle beach, sc; raleigh, nc; washington dc; reading, ma; all over the state of maine
- bodie loves treats, and homemade treats at that (yes he is spoiled!)
- bodie loves the breeze in his face and really enjoys sticking his head out the car window
- bodie loves beer... particularly bud light/bud light lime (don't worry animal people its not like i pour it in his dish... he literally takes the bottle in his paws and sticks his tongue down the bottle neck) - hes a wee bit of a puppy drunk.
- bodie really likes to go to bed. i know this because when i ask him if he wants to go to bed/sleep he RACES to the bedroom and hops up in the bed (mind you i could ask him at noon and hes still game for some sleep)
- bodie at the age of two is finally a GOOD BOY! meaning he doesn't have accidents in the apartment anymore (can i get an amen!!!)
- bodie has wonderful family, friends and MANY aunts and uncles that love him lots!
- and last but NOT least, he is by far my most favorite possession. take my iPhone, take my car, but please leave my puppy! bodie is a breath of fresh air after a long days work, he loves you unconditionally even if you feed him dinner late, he feels guilty when he does something naughty and apologizes with puppy kisses. hes needs me and i need him.. and thats what makes us the perfect pair!!
