sometimes i'm REALLY bad at this!

okay.. life has been a whirlwind since getting back from vacation. work is busy (holy SHIT where did summer go - so depressing). life has been BEYOND interesting - there really aren't even words for this at this time. yes i know... i'm not normally one to be a processor of my thoughts, i usually just word vomit them out (i like to call this the lack of filter effect) but i'm going to reach out to qualities i don't usually use and do a little internal processing.

with all the craziness (aka work stress) i should probably take a moment to think about things i AM looking forward to... so in no particular order:

• sitting by the pool this weekend (fingers crossed)
• alex and jasin's wedding in seattle
• now ... this is kinda sick and deranged and can't believe the words are coming out of my mouth (well, that i'm typing them)... sorority recruitment counselor training at land between the lakes (i know someone should slap me for that) - i get the joy of spending my 27th birthday with 25 sorority women, in the woods, doing ice breakers.... i seriously must be loosing it to be excited for it, but the women are wonderful and they keep me on my toes
• my birthday... haha NOT... who really wants to be 27... not me!
• brace yourself for this one... sorority recruitment. yea... i should seriously get put on drugs. but this is the week that I run (yes notice the emphasis of the I - that means i don't get any snarky comments from anyone about how I run the process... and for being a one woman show... i do a damn good job). on top of that i am BOUND AND DETERMINED to increase recruitment numbers.. i don't care if i have to sell my soul to the devil himself (oh way... i already have... smdh).
• my october date with megan and briana v. - we have GOT to make this one happen. can't wait for a fun reunion and hopefully nashville's beerfest!
• and last.. but certainly not least, GRACE POTTER AND THE NOCTURNALS with alex! see below for the face of excitement:
