its time for a hobby!

okay so i've found myself recently going home and doing one of the follow:

• vegging out in front of the tv
• going to bed early
• making a mess of my apartment
• going on pinterest rampages 
• reading (perfectly acceptable option really)

none of these are terrible but what do you really have to show for any of them (other then a lot of damn pin's that one day "i'll do eventually"). so taking my friend Alex's lead I picked up a hobby (she picked up knooking). what is this hobby you ask...  drum roll please.... crocheting!

yes... i'm old lady brianna and i don't care because its quite an enjoyable hobby! when i was younger i taught myself (well my mom and my neighbor helped i suppose) how to knit. but i would just knit aimlessly -- no real end project maybe other then a scarf. 

with crocheting there are SO many more fun options (though I am finding lots of fun knitting projects too). so far i've completed a few projects! i made bodie his photo shoot scarf and myself a fun cowl neck (LOVE it). i've also been working on a baby blanket for my friend marissa and her gem of a baby girl emma (shhhh its a surprise) and an afghan for myself. megan has requested a grey cowl neck as well so thats my project tonight during the election coverage. check it out yall:

anywho, i'm excited out the potential here. etsy store maybe? i guess i have to get good first! what kind of projects would you crochet? needless to say my pinterest is WAY overloaded with projects, tutorials and yarn beautifulness!
